Vacuum gently
Regular light vacuuming helps remove dust and surface dirt. Use gentle suction where possible and avoid aggressive rotating brushes that may pull on the wool or fringes.
Rotate your rug
Rotate your rug from time to time so that foot traffic and light exposure are distributed more evenly across the surface.
Protect from moisture
Natural wool should not remain wet for long periods. Keep your rug away from persistent moisture and allow it to dry thoroughly if it becomes damp.
Limit strong direct sunlight
Prolonged exposure to strong direct sunlight may gradually affect some colors. Rotating the rug and controlling strong sunlight can help maintain a more even appearance.
Natural wool needs gentle care.

Heavy furniture can leave temporary impressions in natural wool. Where practical, move or slightly reposition furniture from time to time to distribute pressure.

We do not recommend machine washing a handmade natural-wool rug. Excessive water, agitation and unsuitable detergents may affect the wool, weave, shape or colors.
What should I do if I spill something on my rug?
